Tanjung Simpang Mengayau. This is the backyard of the village. I counted 30 steps, from the back door to the beach.
We brought along a folding table, some chairs, a grill, seafood from Kudat market.. we had a gorgeous dinner and time there.

A welcoming committee on this windy and deserted beach! How cute! Strong winds blow the rain clouds onshore. The rain passed quickly and we spent the rest of the afternoon preparing our BBQ dinner on the beach.

on the way to Bunga Raya Island Resort & Spa
Kota Kinabalu in the horizon as the catamaran headed for the excellent Bunga Raya Island Resort & Spa... nice purring sound from the 225 hp motor.
The Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park consists of 5 islands and they are just off the mainland. Bunga Raya Island Resort & Spa is the newest development situated on Gaya Island. Incidentally, 83 species of hibiscus (bunga raya) are said to be planted at the resort.
