A gongs ensemble consists of nipple gongs of various sizes. The sound is muted and harmonious. The larger ones are hung vertically, while the small ones are horizontally suspended on ropes. Wikipedia infornation about gongs.

The Donggongong township holds their weekly tamu (market) on Thursdays and Fridays. Not a huge market in this pre-dominantly Kadazan township, but it is easy to spend an hour or two here. An enjoyable market to visit.

Lady did very well in blouse with earth colour stripes and black trims, topped with a maroon headscarf. Donggongong township holds their tamu (weekly market) on Thursdays and Fridays. Some of the people here move from tamu to tamu as each district holds their tamu on separate days of the week.

Him>I am old already, not handsome anymore.
Me> hahahaha.. Mister, my camera make you handsome.
Him> Take photo of the girl.. she is very pretty. (hahahaha)

Mister sells vegetables and fruits at tamu Donggongong.

Not sure what is in the bottles.. local brew or perhaps, coconut oil. Donggongong township holds their ‘tamu’ every Thursdays and Fridays. Friendly people, enjoyable place to visit. B l a c k m a g i c ~
