Rain often spoil a good market day at the tamu. Photographed at Putatan.

Putatan holds their tamu on Saturdays and Sundays. About half the space at the tamu is covered by permanent structure. The other half (photo above) is under temporary tents. When it gets dark, this section is lit by using kerosene lamps (pump pressure).
